This lovely view of Atlanta, Georgia, is taken from the view of Piedmont Park. If you look carefully, you can see the park house just to the left of center on the waterline. The trees graciously enhance the parkway along the river and make for a wonderful foreground to the skyscrapers behind.
The towering skyscrapers that make up this “Manhattan of the South” solid and new as is much of the skyline of this great city. As with many cities in the Sun Belt, they have had their recent boom with the advent of air-conditioning and cooling systems making the summertime’s a place you can work and rest in.
