Cityscape
This is a nighttime cityscape drawing of downtown Atlanta, because the hatching implies darkness. The hatch line have been employed vertically so that they compliment the alignment of the skyscrapers. I have made the space between the buildings the darkest, so that you can see the difference between the buildings. It is a difficult task to delineate structures in the nighttime light because everything is dim.

The delineation of the cityscape brings out the form of the building, because of the contour lines. Contour lines are very important for detailing structures, because they offer definition. The best renderings of cityscapes use contour lines.
