San Francisco Bay
San Francisco skyline watercolor of downtown on the bay at sunset. This skyline of San Francisco, California, is done at dusk looking west towards Oakland and the San Francisco Bay. In the center of the watercolor is the famous Transamerica Pyramid. Transamerica Pyramid is the highest point in the painting as it pierces the landscape across the shore. If you look carefully you and define the mountains in the background just below the setting sun. This makes for an interesting play on perspective horizon line.
The soft tones of maroon in the sunset sky give warmth to the watercolor.
