Cityscape

This cityscape rendering is a multi-color skyline of Chicago at sunset on Monroe Harbor. The sun is setting on the left side just behind Willis Tower. This is a free-hand drawing and no rulers or straight edges were used to make the cityscape rendering. Yellow is the dominant color on the left because it is the light of the sun. In the middle of the drawing are oranges and browns. On the far right red is the dominant color because it show the darkness of the night coming.

Chicago Skyline 304A

The cityscape drawing shows the reflection of the skyline on the waters of Lake Michigan. There is no black ink used in this cityscape rendering because it takes away from the tone of the color inks. All of the colors used in this cityscape are light. No dark color were used in the rendering because that would make the tone dark and gloomy. The tone of this cityscape is light and fresh because it has cheerful colors.

Skyscrapers.

The tallest building in the cityscape is Willis Tower because it is 1450 feet tall. In the middle of the cityscape are Trump Tower, Two Prudential Plaza, and the Aon Center. Trump Tower has 98 floors and is the second tallest building in Chicago. The Aon Center has only 80 floors but is the fourth tallest building in Chicago. To the far right is the St. Regis which has 101 floors and is the third tallest building in Chicago.
