Cityscape
This cityscape rendering is of downtown Chicago at sunset. The view, in this cityscape drawing, is from Lake Michigan overlooking Burnham Harbor. The sunset is on the left side just behind Willis Tower. On the left side is Willis Tower and the right side is the Aon Center. This view of the cityscape is the most popular because it includes the tallest buildings. Trump Tower is to the left of the Aon Center and taller than it is tall.

The cityscape drawing is done with pen & ink because I will use hatched lines. This cityscape rendering will make use of hatched line because that makes deep shadows. Hatching is the way to make shade and shadows in pen & ink cityscape drawing. The most lines that you apply to the drawing, the darker the shading is.
