The celebrated celebrity actor, Leonardo DiCaprio, has a wonderful face to draw. When I draw him all I can see is a sweet baby face, and I mean that in the good sense. His face is nice and round and full of interest. He has enough lines in the center of his fact to make nice lines for contour and shading. My focus of the drawing was to make the best possible use of contour lines to capture the subject. There were a lot of photos to choose from when I went online searching for images of him. I like this one the most because of the nice amount of shading on the right side. I do not like photos that are too bright because you cannot get enough details. Like baby picture, which I do not like to do, bright lighted photos are bad for delineation.

Titanic was the first film that I saw Leonardo in and it was very good. As it turned out the film got wonderful accolades which it surely earned. Like the move of the Titanic, this drawing was a major break for me, because I was able to nicely get the spirit of his image without having to do a line of line work to do so. The more lines that you put on a drawing the more complicated it becomes.
