Cityscape
This cityscape rendering is a pen & ink drawing of Chicago on the North Lake Shore Drive at sunset.
Chicago skyline 390A
The cityscape drawing shows the reflection of the skyline on Lake Michigan. On the left side of the rendering is the former John Hancock Center which has 100 floors. This is a multi-color pen & ink drawing because it show the sunset better than black pen & ink. Yellow is the most pervasive color in the drawing followed by brown. Red is used on the right side to bring in the tones of the evening sky. The sun is setting near the cluster of building on the left side of the cityscape drawing.
Skyscrapers.
The tallest building in this cityscape drawing is the John Hancock Center at 100 floors. This structure has both private residences and office spaces.
