Cityscape
This cityscape rendering is the most popular scene of Chicago, because this is from Burnham Harbor. The time of day is dusk and the cityscape is at dusk, because the sun is not seen. However, the buildings can be see clearly from their shape in the cityscape. This cityscape is a most pleasant view, because it is like open arms greeting you from left to right. At the center of this harbor view lies the world famous Loop, which is the downtown district of Chicago.
Burnham Harbor
The cityscape is taken form Burnham Harbor looking west, because the sun sets in the west. Since the sun is almost down in this cityscape, the buildings are in shadow. At the far right is Navy Pier, just across the street from Lake Point Tower, and North Lake Shore Drive. Just past the bend on of this cityscape, Lake Shore Drive turns into East Lake Shore Drive, home of the very rich.
