Pen & Inks

Pen & inks have been a long time favorite for me as I very much enjoy working shade and shadows with cross hatching ink lines. However, I have a strong background in oil painting which is clearly reflected in my landscape oils.

Male Beauty

From The Fish In The Sea, To The Birds In The Air, It Is Nature’s Decree That The Male Is Most Fair

If you are a man, and you want to make your straight buddy uncomfortable in a hurry, just tell him that “The guy who just walked in is really cute”, and you will see him squirm! Why? Because deep inside, your buddy knows it, and does not want to let the cat out of the bag. This fact is true of all men, in all cultures, and of all races, because men are far more beautiful than women. More importantly, the male gender is the fair gender, not the female.

Physiologic Architecture

The male, unlike the female possesses a magnificent architecture, because his muscles, skeleton, and physique sculpt a structurally sound design. Whereas the female has a wobbly form, accented with saggy tits, and flabby hips, that offers little. This is because to have the female the equal in beautify with the male would cause a visual, and social conflict, because the male is the dominant gender of the species by the rule of Nature. It is the male that mounts, and penetrates the female, because the male passes on the seed of life.

Brainwashing

In Western Culture, and many others, we have been brainwashed, swindled if you will, to believe a lie. For it is the rule of Nature that the male gender in all species is the beautiful, and fair specimen. Men of society uphold the female as the fair sex, because they desire them for sexual satisfaction. Thus to uphold another man as beautiful creates a conflict in their mind, that is wrong, because the ploy of upholding of female beauty is to focus on sexual intercourse so as to procreate. Masking the truth, and living the lie of female beauty is a tawdry swindle, that cheapens the glory of Nature’s greatest creation, which is of course, the human male.

Schools Of Sperm

However, there is no need to worry, because men are meant to bond by the rule of Nature. This is why men like sports, and huddles, because they are team like the school of sperms swimming to the egg. Male bonding stems from our primordial sperm team, and poses no threat to male sexual encounters. Therefore, the next time that your buddy tells you that the guy that just walked in is cute, agree with him! Because he is offering you respect, and friendship which is the greatest treasure of all.

Male Beauty

Sex is not beautiful in anyway whatsoever, because it is a bodily function. People do not want to hear that, because it is true. Like eating, urinating, and defecating, these things should be done in private. Yes, eating is a bodily function, and should be done in private, because it is crude. Not all things that we do should be seen publicly, like brushing your teeth. There is modesty and discretion in all good mannered people, and we do not want to stoop down to crudeness.

Sir Robert Loescher was the Professor of Art History at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, because of his outstanding scholarship, and profound learning. I was fortunate to be able to take a number of his courses, because there filled up quickly, due to demand. Sir was a proud Gay GLBTQ man, and held in honor by all, because he was a most honorable man.

Above is a pen & ink drawing that I have done of Sir Robert, because I want to always remember him. Of the many things that I can say, that would fill books, I would like to make reference to his lecture on Cupid Chastised, by Bartolomeo Manfredi.

Cupid Chastised

In one of the many fine and outstanding tours that Sir Robert gave to we students in the galleries of the Art Institute of Chicago, on one occasion we stopped in front of the Old Masters. This gallery was at that time located at the font and center of the Michigan Avenue building, and the Assumption of the Virgin was dead center. To the immediate right of the Assumption was Cupid Chastised. Sir Robert had us gather around him and the painting and then asked us to comment on it.

The Lecture

As young students, that did not know any better, so we gave answers that seemed solid and sensible for Baroque Art, with mythological themes. However, when we finished, he very gently and with stealth opened the conversation to the underlying meaning of the painting. The veneer of the painting was about Roman mythology. However, the substance of the work was about Homoerotic Sadomasochistic Gay Art. As Sir Robert talked, it all became so clear, and we were amazed. At the bottom of this article is a link to my article about this famous painting.

Sweet Mirage

The Church set up an image of a figure like Cardinal Newman, and hold him up for us as mode, because he is a beacon of vision. That is all fine and good but it is what I call the Sweet Mirage, ever so soft, and a gentle swindle. This is nothing but a speck in the vast geodesic prism of human perspective. Faith is based upon fact, not fables, because faith relies on a rational account of habits, and practices. There is no such thing as blind faith, only blind stupidity.

With all love and kindness the priests, and nuns, raised us as children about the Catholic Church, because they were earnest. This is the sad commentary, because they were kind, and well intended, but just did not know any better.

Smooth Deception

If there is anything that is deplorable, it is being kindly swindled, because it takes you off guard. Often times it is easy to spot a swindler, like a used car salesman trying to sell you his good, because he wants your commission fee. However, we all know that kind of deception, because it is obvious. However, the kind of fraudulent sweet swindle that take money from the elderly is evil, because these people are weak, and helpless.

When your very life is at stake, it pays to be very careful, because you will lose your life. The bottom lines is to be cautious and not listen to anyone. Rather, demand for the person to support his or her statements with facts, because this will expose them.

Mick has been an international celebrity since his rise to fame in the 1960’s, because he has made many famous songs. The Rolling Stones, like the Beatles, have been a household word for decades, due to their enormous success.

Above is my pen & ink drawing of Mick Jagger, because it clearly shows his facial details. The one thing that I give Mick full respect for as a person is not having any tattoos. His face doe not look all that great, because of all the years of his drug use. I think that if he did not use any drugs he would look a lot better, because drugs drag you down. The element on his face that strikes my attention is the puffed up skin under his lips, because this is not a common feature in most people.

Personal Faith

The error in public society is the foisting of believes on the people, because it is politically correct. For example, we are forced to believe that all men are created equal, when if fact this is a lie. Further, all men are not created equal, because it is the rule of nature. However, we have to pay the price for political correctness, because this secures the power of the people, and their policies.

Adolph Hitler

Another example of the same, is forcing the public to hate of the Jews, because they are evil. This was the lie endorsed by the Third Reich, and Adolph Hitler. Again the reason was to secure the power of people, and policies in political office at the expense of the people.

The bottom line is that what you believe is intrinsic to your being. No one can legislate to you what you believe, and what is true. It is not the place of Congress to rule that the world is round, for that is a scientific fact. In the same light, it is not the place for Congress to legislate that you must hate the Jews, or believe that all men are created equal. If you choose to hate all Jews, that is your personal choice but nothing more. Thus you cannot hold others to your belief or faith. So too with all religions, they are personal, not fact based.

The Hustle

No matter how you cut it, when it all boils down, sex is a swindle, because it always lets you down. This is a universal truth, because it affects straight, gay, and bisexual men, and women. This also is true for the transgender community, because sex is pervasive to all human beings. The bottom line is that sex is a hustle, because it knows no person, and has no feelings.

When a straight boy goes to a dance, he looks at the wall flowers, because he want to have sex with the hottest girl. He does not care about her personality, or intelligence, because he swindles himself into thinking that time will tell. However, time never tells, because it is always too late.

Love The Person

If you want a rich, and happy life, love the person, because sex is very short term, and always wears out. Be wise and look for character, and wisdom in a lover, because these are enduring qualities that make you better as a person. Look for the intrinsic qualities of a person, be he gay or straight, because inner character is real, and long lasting.

Jane Fonda was arrested on Friday, October 8, 2019 for obstruction, and crowding, in Washington D.C., at the Capital Building. Please, throw away the key! As rude, and obnoxious as ever, because she is a spoiled brat. Jane was on Capital Hill stirring more trouble, and using climate change as gimmick for her show. Jan Fonda is the daughter of actor Henry Fonda, another kook, and brother of Peter Fonda, who I have no words for.

Fire Drill Fridays

In her typical smart ass, and arrogant manner, proudly told the press that she will be arrest every Friday for her cause. The calls it “Fire Drill Fridays”. Jane Fonda is rude to the public, because she is a spoiled child. She has no regard, or respect for authority, because she is narrow minded. She is was an unstable child, because her mother committed suicide. Her new step-mother was like a sister, because she was 23 years younger than her father. Jane is suffering from identity crises, because of her mother’s suicide. Jan Fonda needs to grow up, and learn to respect others, because she turns people off.

This pencil self-portrait was drawn on my birthday, because I make annual self-portraits. The one element that I never like in any of my self-portraits is that I look stern, or mean, because of the bright light shining on me. Also, when I am drawing I am highly focus, which gives an intense look to the viewer. Hence, all of my self-portraits make me look mean, when in fact I am cheerful almost all of the time.

I have been doing self-portraits since I was a child. I have always been able to drawing since I can remember. My brother Philip Dunn Condren, whose birthday is today, would always come up to me, and asked me to draw him a Bogeyman, when we lived on Coles Avenue, in Chicago.

The nice thing about self-portraits is that I do not need to higher a model for sitting. Also, I can draw them at any time, on demand. Most importantly, I like to use them as studies for new ways of approaching drawing. Self-portraits open endless artistic possibilities for me.
