Description
Willis Tower #205A, pen & ink landmark drawing, also in pencil and watercolor, is a critical treatise because this is a work of Fine Art.
The “Willis Tower #205A” is a refined work of art because it shows high contrasting tones. This “Willis Tower #205A” is a strong work of art because the contour lines show the outline while the hatched lines show the shading. The post to this rendering is “205.”

Landmark
Willis Tower on Wacker Drive in downtown Chicago, Illinois. However, Willis Tower (Sears Tower) was the tallest building in the world. Willis Tower is famous because it held the record as world’s tallest building for over 25 years. The tower in reality consists of 9 smaller square “tubes” because they are bundled together to make one piece. Each of the “tubes” goes up to a certain point and then stops.
The 50th floor is the starting point for the “tubes” because those floors were reserved for the offices of Sears Roebuck & Company because it was the head office. The floors for 51 on up were to be rented out to higher paying clients because of the views. The total height of the building is 1,454 feet tall which includes the two antennae on the top because it is tall. The original design for the office complex was for two towers, one at 60 floors and the other at 40 floors because of the lower cost for construction.

However, today with the advent of the new super tall skyscrapers this noble building has fallen behind. Like its rival, the Empire State Building in Manhattan, the old guard must step aside for the new because of time.
