This celebrity rendering of Tom Brady shows him holding the Lombardi Trophy at Super Bowl LV. The drawing is done in pen & ink because it brings out the details. Most of the drawing uses contour lines to capture the image of this celebrity. Tom is shown next to the trophy so part of his head is not seen. There is no background detail in the drawing because it would mess up the drawing. The point of the pen & ink is for clarity of image.
Tom Brady 198A
The celebrity drawing is done in a fine pen manner. There is very little hatching or cross-hatching of lines because they make the drawing dark. I drew the celebrity rendering in contour lines because they bring out clarity. The more lines that you put in a drawing the more is gets confusing. Pen & ink drawings are very difficult to work with because they do not erase. The ink is very unforgiving because the slightest move can cause error.
