This is a pen & ink drawing of the famous Plum Beach Lighthouse, Rhode Island. This drawing was done with a regular size pen and my focus for this drawing was the use of dark tones making an interesting high contrast drawing because of the curve of the tower and the sharp shadow line across its base. Generally high contrast drawings work best with flat surfaces and lots of cross-hatching, in this drawing the curve makes for an interesting image.
