This celebrity rendering is of Chris Hemsworth looking straight at you. The color pen & ink celebrity drawing brings out the tones of his face. Color pen & ink drawings are not as popular for celebrity drawings because they are difficult to work with. The colors of the ink have to match the skin tones because it will look good. I make use of oranges and yellows to make the flesh tones.

The celebrity drawing is of Chris Hemsworth shows in a calm matter looking at the viewer. In the photo his hair is very dark, almost black. I used dark brown inks to bring out the darkness of his hair. His hair is very wavy and the lines show the various curves on his head. Chris is wearing a beard and mustache. The beard is a medium brown color ink with a mix of yellow inks.

Drawing Characteristics

Characteristics of this celebrity drawing are the multi-color inks that are all aligned to bring out his facial features. Hatched lines were used all over the drawing. Cross-hated lines were used to bring out the shade and shadows. The hatched lines are used for the form of his face because it adds dimension.
