The lines on the water are loose because they show movement. This cityscape drawing is looking to the northwest because it shows Lake Michigan from an angle. Lake Shore Drive is seen at the bottom of the drawing because it is curving into East Lake Shore Drive. East Lake Shore Drive is the richest street in Chicago. The former John Hancock Center is the tallest building in the drawing because it has 100 floors.
