This wonderful vista of Emma County, Colorado, near Basalt, Colorado is almost a dream; the mountains and countryside just melt together to offer us this spectacular scene.
I used two pens of different thickness as well as two colors of ink in the watercolor, brown and black. The black was needed for the delineation of the mountains and some key shadow points, whereas the brown was used on the fence in the foreground as well as the barns in the center of the work.
