San Francisco skyline #886A pen & ink watercolor cityscape painting, by artist Stephen Condren, BFA, SAIC, of Condren Galleries.
Cityscape
Looking from San Francisco Bay is the world-famous skyline of San Francisco, California. Because this watercolor cityscape painting was done in the mid-afternoon, it has the sun starting to set. You can see from the angle of the sun’s rays that it is about 3:00 in the after noon.
Scenic view
I have used watercolor mixed with pen & ink. The ink colors are gray and brown, there is only a touch of the brown ink in the work of art. This view of the city offers the panorama that millions of people are familiar with. On the far right is the famous earthquake proof Transamerica Pyramid.
