This pen & ink drawing of Johnny Depp was taken at a press release where news was breaking that he was being sued for alleged assault by Mr. Gregg Brooks. Thus with all the lights from the press and cameras there was not much shade or shadowing. It would have been nice to have some hatch lines under the bill of his cap but that just is not the case here.

This pen & ink only took me around 10 minutes to draw. I had to take care not to do too much line work on his face and thus ad age to his already decrepit looks.
