This figure drawing is of the fitness trainer and athlete Eric Helms. I took this image from a nice photo that I found online because it nicely shows his pectorals and 6-pack abdomen. These are key elements that I look for when I am wanting to draw a male figure. The nice thing about drawing shirtless males is that they are not naked and you get to see the best part of their body. Whereas when you draw a shirtless female you are immediately confronted with nudity which invariably leads to complications. I do not want to be labeled as one that looks at women as sex objects.
