Figure Drawing

This figure drawing rendering is of the super German model Janis Danner. He is very well known in Germany and has established an international following. He is straight and has a girl friend. This figure drawing is a simple sketch of Janis standing in front of a camera. I wanted to do a simple rendering of him rather thank an over delineated rendering of him. I have used the black pen & ink to draw the main figure and then used the color inks to fill in the details.

The figure drawing of Janis Danner is frontal and he is looking at you straight on. I have used yellow, orange, brown, and black to make this figure drawing. Hatched lines were used to make the shade and shadows because they bring out the depth of his body. I have nicely hatched along is pecs to bring them out because they are the glory of his male beauty.

Drawing Characteristics

Characteristics of this figure drawing are the use of just a few colors. Further, I did not want to use a lot of lines. I wanted this to be a simple yet lovely drawing of a beautiful man. I am very pleased with how this  figure drawing has turned out. Like a Mozart symphony, it is not complicated but profound. So too here, we have lines elegantly place in such a manner so as to bring out the male beauty of this fine young German.
