Mythology
This Mythology rendering of Cyclopes is done with Multi-color pen & inks. The drawing for first commended with a simple pencil draft of the monster. He is a combination of images that I have seen on-line and of my own creation. Most of the images have the Cyclopes as a monster but I rather would think of him as a man. Thus I put the head of a monster on the body of a man, much like the Minotaur.
Cyclopes 371A
The Mythology drawing is done in fine point pen nib. A fine point is necessary of this kind of drawing so as to draw the fine details of the face. When I did the contour of his body I used a medium pen nib for a thicker line. The horn on his head looks great.
Drawing Characteristics
Characteristics of this Mythology drawing is the use of high contrasting color to make the skin and face look real. I have put green along side of orange and red to make the monster look more hideous and I am very pleased with the results.
