Chicago skyline #712A is a pen & ink, cityscape watercolor by artist Stephen Condren, BFA, SAIC, of Condren Galleries.
Key elements of this work of art are as follows:
Cityscape
Chicago skyline watercolor painting with colorful sunset by skyline artist Stephen F. Condren, BFA-SAIC. The undisputed queen of the Great Lakes stands Chicago, Illinois, with one of the most spectacular skylines in the world. Here you can see the tallest buildings in the western hemisphere and the birthplace of the modern skyscraper. This view of the city is take on the lake looking south towards Streeterville where you can see the John Hancock Center and Four Seasons Hotel. Lower in the horizon you can see the Palmolive Building and the Drake Hotel, which sits on East Lake Shore Drive, Chicago’s most exclusive residential area.
Chicago Skyline #712A
This is one of my favorite skylines of Chicago, because this cityscape is warm and romantic.
