This drawing of the gay cowboy is just his face wearing his 10-gallon hat, because it is a study from the entire torso. I have drawn this cowboy on previous posts, because I am attempting to capture his inner mystique. Even though I have done this image many times, I have difficulty with his persona, because he as a charm about him.

Above is my pencil drawing done with 6B lead, because I wanted a soft dark lead for shading. He has a slight smile on his face, because he is looking at you. The face is cast in a shadow from his hat, because of the angle of the sun.
