Cityscape
This cityscape rendering is of the tallest skyscrapers along East Randolph Street in Chicago. The tallest building in this cityscape is Trump Tower because it has 98 floors. However, the Aon Center is the tallest image in the drawing because it is closest to the viewer. Trump Tower, though taller thank the Aon Center, is further back on north Wabash Avenue.
Chicago Skyline 232A
The cityscape drawing is done with pen & ink on paper. The stylus is a medium tip pen nib which is good for architectural renderings. Hatched lines were used all over the cityscape to show the mass of the skyscrapers. Shade and shadows are also made with hatched lines. Lake Michigan is at the bottom of the cityscape drawing. The reflection of the landscape appear below.
