Delineation of Watercolor house portrait 6/26/2018

The line work and shadowing in this home will be very nice. The architectural style lends itself to long overhangs and deep eaves which cast lots of shadows.

Hatching & Cross-hatching

The shade and shadows are make from a quick horizonal line strokes. This pen & ink drawing gives you a basic understanding what the house will look like, the angle and perspective most importantly. The photo provide for this house portrait was very distorted and so I took it upon myself to make a preliminary sketch to give the agent some comfort as to how the watercolor will appear.

Below is an image of one of my house portrait fliers that I give to Realtors and contractors for securing business. The nice thing about a flier is that is a very inexpensive way to promote my business, and the results can often come quickly.

For the most part, however, I look as passing out fliers as planting seeds for long term results.
