Designed after a Japanese lantern the Udo Lighthouse stands elegantly as a beacon of safe haven to all that see her. I lived in Japan for two years aboard the USS Midway CV-41 and during my time there I traveled all over the country to take in all the wonders of this great nation. Even though it has been many years since I have been back to Japan I feel as though a great part of my life is indebted to her.
