Description
Shirtless cowboy #488A pencil figure drawing is popular because of his rugged good looks with straps, and the print is matted 11″x14″.
Shirtless cowboy or bare-chested herdsman pencil drawing, by artist Stephen Condren, BFA, SAIC, of Condren Galleries.
Figure
This is a pencil drawing of a shirtless cowboy, because he is not wearing a shirt. He is along and walking towards the viewer, because he is portraying the image of lonely, rugged manhood. The cowboy has always been a favorite image of independence, and manliness, because cowboys had to be rugged to make it through tough times.
Shirtless Cowboy #488A
The drawing was down with and HB, and 6B lead, because I wanted variations on line weight. The 6B lead was used for the contour lines, and dark hatching, because it delineates very well. The use of HB lead brings out the form of the body, because it leaves room for the dark contour lines.
