This pen & ink drawing is a study of light, because I wanted to use high contrast lighting for imagery. This is good, because there is no graduation of tones with ink lines. You have to use hatching, and cross-hatching, because that provides good shade and shows. To make stronger shadows, you have made the hatch lines closer together. Light and dark make for interesting images.
