Landmark
This landmark drawing is of the Parthenon at the Acropolis. The drawing shows the landmark as an overview of the citadel from the east. I have made the lines clean and clear with a minimum of shading because it is far away. The best view of the Parthenon is from the south.
Parthenon 382A
The landmark drawing show the pillars of the outer face of the Parthenon. I did not darken the space between the lines because it would make the image too dark. This is a small rendering of the landmark temple because of the scale of the drawing. I wanted a view that show the entire site rather than focusing on just the landmark temple. When you draw from a vista it makes everything smaller, so you have to draw carefully.
Drawing Characteristics
Characteristics of this landmark drawing is the fine lines. There is very little hatching of lines done on the landmark temple because it would busy-up the image of the structure. I have hatched the ground below the wall because of the rocks and grass that are there.
Photographs & Image
The drawing was done from an internet search of the Parthenon.
