This dramatic drawing shows downtown Los Angeles, California, in the midst of a harsh thunderstorm in the late afternoon. The clouds looming overhead have darkened the downtown cityscape, however, the light of the sun shines through from the streaming yellow and orange pencil strokes above the clouds bring hope and good cheer.
