Figure Drawing

This drawing rendering is of the straight German model Janis Danner because he has a lovely body. He is very popular in Germany, and he is gaining popularity in Europe because of his good looks. He is in his 20’s and very handsome because he keeps himself well-groomed. Janis has a nice toned build that is just right because it is not too muscular. He has a nice 6-pack and beautiful pecs that glorify his male beauty.

The drawing of Janis Danner is from a three-quarter angle. You see a lot of his side profile but his head is turned to look right at you. This is a pencil drawing with there different leads being used to capture the tones. The 6B lead was the last one that I used so as to accentuate the shading on his body.

Drawing Characteristics

Characteristics of this drawing are the dark contour lines that define his body. I did not focus too much on his face as I was more interested in his torso. In a drawing of this scale, it is difficult to get any kind of good view of the face. The elements of the eyes, nose, and mouth are just too small at this scale.
