This figure drawing rendering is of the straight German model Janis Danner. He is very popular in Germany and he is gaining popularity in Europe. He is in his 20’s and very handsome. Janis has a nice toned build that is just right because it is not too muscular. He has a nice 6-pack and beautiful pecs that glorify his male beauty.

The figure drawing of Janis Danner is from a three-quarter angle. You see a lot of his side profile but his head is turned to look right at you. This is a pencil drawing with there different leads being used to capture the tones. The 6B lead was the last one that I used so as to accentuate the shading on his body.

Drawing Characteristics

Characteristics of this figure drawing are the dark contour lines that define his body. I did not focus too much on his face as I was more interested in his torso. In a drawing of this scale it is difficult to get any kind of good view of the face. The elements of the eyes, nose, and mouth are just too small at this scale.
