This figure drawing is of the famous athlete and celebrity Colton underwood. News just came out today (4/14/2021) that Colton has come out of the closet and has announced that he is gay. It is a great pleasure to see people come out and be who and what they are. I would rather be honest and up front with people than hide behind lies.

The figure drawing of Colton Underwood is a simple torso, or shirtless rendering. I have made a point to make this a very simple line illustration, rather than a detailed cross-hatched rendering. I really like the “Minimalist” look that this drawing offers.

Drawing Characteristics

Characteristics of this figure drawing is the space around the lines. In other words, I let the space fill the form of his torso rather than a series of cross-hatched lines. It is very comfortable to look at and relaxing to study.
