Live On The Spot Bar Scene Drawings
I sit and draw people in action at the bar while enjoying the company of good friends. The drawings are a study on the human figure and it’s movements in Bar Scene #122A. I always put cotton in my ears so that the loud music does not affect my concentration. Upon entering the club I don the cotton as I have outstanding hearing. I have always been very protective of my hearing because it is important to me. In Bar Scene #122A I have made a point to make the architecture dominant.
Usually I sit in a location that has a good perspective so that I can put the interior architecture of the room into the drawing. The interior perspective is very dependent on a good vantage point. Also, a good perspective enhances the draftsmanship of the rendering. Therefore, live drawings always look best because they capture the real movement.
Lightning Fast Drawings Art
This drawing has to be done quickly because the people are talking and moving about all of the time and you have to do the best to capture the moment. It must be understood that these are not studio drawings that have that polished and finished look. Rather, these drawing are brazen and raw, showing you what is happening at that very moment.
