Figure
This drawing is of fitness trainer and athlete Eric Helms because I wanted to draw him. I liked this image of Eric because he is not self-conscious and is looking away, almost like he does not know that you are there. The photo that I worked from show the pectorals in a nice position with his arms because he works out often. The ball cap with the bill in the back adds a nice touch to his surprised expression because he likes to be casual. I could not detail his face too much because the torso takes up too much space in the picture plane.
Gay Shirtless Male Pecs
The rendering of Eric Helms is a finish study because of my used of contour drawing with pen and pen & ink. This pen & ink is done on top of the pencil drawing that is under it. The sketch below is my guide for the pen & ink that is to follow.
Drawing Characteristics
Characteristics of this figure drawing is the space delineation from the pencil lines that are under the pen & ink lines.
