Description
Bartender 910A pen & ink bar scene drawing by Stephen Condren, BFA, SAIC.
Bar Scene
This bar scene rendering is done in pen & ink on paper. The bartender is standing at his bar pouring drinks from a bottle because he is serving his customers. Hatched and cross-hatched lines are used extensively in the bar scene drawing because they bring out the shading. The more hated lines to a drawing increase the intensity of the mood, because it makes the bar scene darker. Most of the drawing is in darkness because of the intense hatching. It is darkest where the bartender is pouring.
Bartender 910A
Pen & ink bar scene drawing of a young bartender pouring from a bottle. This most excellent bar scene drawing is from a photograph of a young bartender. The use of very fine cross hatching lines make the deep rich shadows that are all over the drawing. The cross hatching can be seen on his fingers as well as the bottle and the deep wall sections behind the bar. Pen & ink line drawing of a young bartender pouring from a bottle.
