Pencil Drawing For Watercolor House Portrait #402Z
- Clinker Stylus Sketch
The pencil drawing is the foundation of the house portrait. From here I do the scale and layout that includes the landscaping. All the elements that come later are based on this drawing.
Pen & Ink Drawing
- Stylus Sketch
The pen & ink drawing is the step taken after I due the drawing or sketch. Now that I have the preliminary drawing laid out, I can safe put the ink in place. However, great care has to be taken here because you cannot erase, and you absolutely cannot use “Whiteout” because that shows through on the watercolor.
Watercolor
- Painting
The watercolor rendering is the final phase of the house portraits, and as you can see below all the elements from above are in place.
Scans
- JPEG & PDF
Scans of house portrait #000Z are available in JPEG or PDF formats for making prints, note cards, or posters.
