San Francisco trolley car passengers pen & ink line drawing. In this pen & ink drawing we have a great view of passengers traveling on a famous San Francisco, California, trolley. As you can see from the expressions on the faces of the passengers they are not tourist but everyday citizens of the city. This image is great for it offers all kinds of shade and shadow possibilities. I have serving things that I would like to do with this image but for now my focus was two-fold. First I wanted to properly delineate the drawing so as to bring life and continuity to the subjects in the car. Second, I wanted to take advantage of the high contrast of light in the scene to make a dramatic statement with the ink.
