I have made a special effort here to capture the feeling of the image without sacrifice form. Thus, in this silhouette drawing you have both the contour of the image and the formal structure of the young man’s body. I have taken great care to use just enough negative space to have the shape and form of the drawing. Any further tampering with the contour lines of the drawing would distort the image.
I have used contour lines to draw the naked cowboy in profile because they show the outline of the figure. To capture the shade and shadows of the hot sexy cowboy, I have used fine hatched and cross-hatched lines.
Lighting
This lighting on the skin of the naked cowboy in profile is intense because the rays of light are highly focused. You can see that the sun light is the most intense on the pectoralis majors and his linea alba that runs down to his inguinal ligaments.
