Loeb mansion blueprint from the Leopold-Loeb murder trial in Chicago, in the summer of 1924. These architectural renderings are of the home of Richard Loeb. The house is in the Tudor style with simplified elements. The famous lawyer, Clarence Darrow, had the two young men, Richard Loeb and Nathan Leopold spared from the gallows and given a sentence of Life plus 99 years in the murder trial of 1924 in Chicago. The mansion was raised in the spring of 1972 and has been preserved in art by my architectural rendering of it. The house was located at 5017 S. Ellis Avenue, in the Hyde Park Township in the Kenwood neighborhood of Chicago. These famous architectural renderings are now in the permanent collection of the Chicago History Museum.
