Description
Chicago skyline 159A pen & ink cityscape drawing is popular because of it’s view of the Lincoln Park lagoon, and the print is matted 11″x14″.
This rendering is by artist Stephen Condren, BFA, SAIC, of Condren Galleries.
Cityscape
This cityscape rendering is first done in a light sketch because that is the guideline for me to put the in on. Once I have put the sketch in place I can go over the sketch to finish the cityscape. Hatch lines have been employed to make shade and shadows.
Lincoln Park
Lincoln Park is just north of the near north side or Streeterville, because it starts the north side. Lake Michigan is the eastern boarder of Lincoln Park and so it is very much in demand, and expensive. The cityscape here shows the tall skyscrapers that surround the park, because of the population density. This cityscape also brings to the viewer a love scene of the landscape, because that makes the park a nice place.
