Cityscape
This cityscape of Berlin show the Fernsehturm (far seeing tower) to the right side of the rendering. As a speaker of German I am always partial to things German, because I am Irish. This cityscape is a pleasure to offer because it shows the good side of Berlin. The colors of the sunset are a wonderful backdrop to the buildings that are detailed with pen & ink.
Berlin Skyline 156A
The sunset sets the tone in this cityscape of Berlin, because the barium yellow is pervasive through the watercolor. Rendering of this cityscape is done with care, because of the detailed buildings at the base of the watercolor. The center of the sky is a band of barium yellow that nice works the rest of the colors together.
Blue and yellow are the dominant tones in this cityscape, and stops all local coloring. It is vital to blend all of the color throughout the cityscape watercolor or it goes flat.
