Chicago Skyline Watercolor Painting At Night #428. Key elements in this work of art are as follows:
- Night
- Sun
- Lake Michigan
- Night: The evening sky is the calling card to the Chicago skyline painting. There is a mixture of reds and blues to make up the sky which are cast over the yellow hues that melt over the skyscrapers from the setting sun.
- Sun: The sun light is the strongest element in the watercolor skyline of Chicago. Though it is a small thin band, it is very strong in tone and hue. The city skyline is clearly outlined in the sky above and in the waters below.
- Lake Michigan: The waters of Lake Michigan add an extra dynamic to the painting as the night time sky is beautifully reflected in the water.
