San Francisco pen & ink drawing of painted ladies on Alamo Square. I have done a pen & ink drawing of five of the painted ladies on Alamo Square in San Francisco, California. The drawing is a study on shade and shadow with highly detailed subjects. I have worked very carefully here to bring out the details of the Victorian homes while at the same time make use of hatch lines to make shadows that bring out the detail.
