The rendering has both contour lines, and hatch lines for shade, and shadows, because this gives the image depth. In this figure drawing I have made a point to work both contour lines with hatch lines, because this delivers a superb work of art. All of the line weights are similar in tone, because they balance the lighting in the scene. At all times, the cowboy is looking at you, because you are the subject of his intentions.

I have used contour lines to draw the figure because they show the outline of the body. To capture the shade and shadows of the hot gay boy, I have used fine hatched and cross-hatched lines. I am most pleased with the shading around his body, and behind the bed, because they work together to make a good composition for hot shirtless gay cowboy in bed.
