Cityscape
Omaha skyline watercolor painting of downtown at sunset. This cityscape is one of my favorite watercolors, because of the mixture of tones. Red and yellow juxtaposed with the glowing lights make this watercolor of Omaha, Nebraska, exceptional. I visit this fine city every year and when I am there it is always a pleasure to stay and see this rich community.
The city of Omaha has been put on the map by it’s most famous resident Warren Buffet. Known as “The oracle of Omaha”. Mr. Buffet lives in a quiet middle class neighborhood.
Color
The color of the cityscape reflects the mood of this fair city, because it is Midwestern. In this lovely cityscape there is a nice mixture of yellow and crimson. The blending of warm colors makes the sunset richer in tone.
