Dallas skyline watercolor painting as seen from Mountain Creek Lake. This view of Dallas, Texas, is taken from Fair Park, which offers a wonderful view of the cityscape. Dallas is truly a World-class city offering all the finest in the Arts and Sciences. Houston has wonderful art galleries, symphony orchestras, and opera. When you visit this great city you are immediately taken by its grace and polish not to mention its incredible wealth. Everywhere that you go the trees line the street and flowers. The landscape is shown with trees that are planted everywhere to make for a lovely urban setting. Dallas has the second largest metropolitan area in Texas.
Dallas Metropolis
The most striking feature of this watercolor is the geodesic ball on the Hyatt Regency Hotel just to the left of the center. As soon as you see this you know that you are looking at Dallas much like the Empire State Building in Manhattan or Willis Tower in Chicago. I have moved the angle of the skyline so that this image of the geodesic ball is off-center and well position just to the left. The work of the inking is gentle and carefully delineates the buildings without dominating the watercolor and is better as a compliment to the image. This vast metropolis gives Dallas a robust skyline that can be seen for up to 25 miles away. Only Houston can boast a larger skyline than Dallas.

Dallas is also a very cosmopolitan city hosting businesses and tourist from all over the world, Dallas thinks big. When you are in Dallas you are treated like a king and given every amenity. The finest hotels and resorts which makes it difficult for you when it comes time for going home. The skyline is very graceful and refined lacking in nothing. Some of the tallest buildings in the country are located here and a good amount of them are new. The downtown district is robust and full of activity, restaurants, shops, and boutiques are everywhere to be found.
